For people who hate Valentine's your comments aren't welcome here, though most people who hate it or boycott it are smart enough to know not to pick fights with random people about happy times.

Rohan and I have always made an effort to make Valentine's our own, we don't do it because it's a particular day, we do it because it's an opportunity for us to do something special, a chance to take time out of our lives.

We were hoping to get a reservation at our favourite restaurant, but that fell through. No big. We went shopping, bought wine, meat and sauce, and came back and both cooked dinner. Rohan makes the best mashed potato IN THE WHOLE WORLD by the way.

Everything's wonderful, we start eating chocolate bavarian for dessert, and I give him the booklet I bought from kikki.k, called '10 Thing I Love About You'. I actually filled it with more like 20 things, cos the pages are double sided but I didn't realise til I was half way through.

Before he reads his book, I read the card he gave me.


I couldn't stop crying. Our first Valentine's Day as husband and wife, I didn't even think that he'd get me a 'wife' card. I love to see it in writing, to hear it said.


He was clever and knew that I wouldn't like one with a rhyming poem, and he found one that summed up everything he felt for me. More crying ensues.


Oh it's so cute! I love Little White paper, and things like that, hmmm, I wonder what's underneath *turns*


That's right, I got Rick Rolled on Valentine's IN MY VALENTINE'S CARD. Rohan has awesome win factor plus 9000 for at least the rest of our lives.
